The Call for Papers for the 19th World Congress of Soil Science opened in April 2009. The paper submission close date was 31 October 2009 this was extended for Oral Paper submission to 30 November 2009 and to 31 January 2010 for papers submitted for Poster Presentation. The submission process is now closed
The Congress has received an exceptional response to the Call for
Papers, over 2500 submissions were received.

- Authors who submitted their paper by the Oral Paper deadline
of 30 November 2009 will have already been advised if their paper has been
accepted for inclusion in the Congress Program.
- Editorial feedback to all authors will be provided by 15
February 2010.
- Authors who submitted their paper after 30 November 2009 and met the 31 January
2010 deadline will be advised if their paper will be accepted for inclusion in
the Congress Program by 15 February 2010.
- Authors will be advised if their paper has been accepted for
Oral or Poster Presentation by 15 February 2010. Those selected for oral
presentations will be scheduled in June 2010.
- Authors have until 30 May 2010 to register for the 19th World
Congress of Soil Science. If your registration is not paid by 30 May
2010 your paper (for Oral or Poster Presentation) will be removed from the
Congress program and WILL NOT be included in the Congress Proceedings. No
exceptions.
- Reminders will be sent in February, March, April and May urging
authors to register for the Congress.
- Please note that the discounted EARLY BIRD registration fee is available only
up to 30 April 2010 and will not be extended. No exceptions.
